Rachel Caradine

Business Development Manager

Rachel Caradine – Rach to her mates – brings years of experience in sales and business development to Arei Designs, where she’s all about creating authentic connections and driving business growth. From retail to corporate sales, Rach knows how to build relationships that stick, always with a friendly, approachable vibe and just the right amount of humour. She’s passionate about turning opportunities into results – and doing it in style.

Originally from Brisbane but now calling Melbourne home, Rach loves everything the city offers – except for the unpredictable weather! (it’s true what they say about four seasons in one day!) She misses the consistent sunshine of Brisbane but is always keen to explore Melbourne’s hidden gems – whether it’s enjoying a sneaky wine and cheese on her balcony with friends while soaking up the views – or venturing out to discover all that Melbourne and Victoria have to offer.

Rach’s journey into building and design is still fresh, but her experience in sales, combined with her love for connecting with people, makes her the perfect fit for the team. She’s making waves, bringing her business acumen and positive energy to everything she does.

Natasha

DIRECTOR & BUILDING DESIGNER

Natasha is the owner and lead designer at Arei Designs, combining creativity, practicality and a love of smart, functional homes. Growing up in Gladstone, she developed an early passion for building design – fascinated by how great spaces could change the way people live. Today, she calls Townsville in tropical North Queensland home, where she leads the Arei team in creating homes that are not only beautiful but work brilliantly in the real world.

Natasha’s all about making the design and drafting process faster, smoother and easier for builders. Whether it’s a custom one-off or a pre-designed single or double-storey home, she works closely with builders and clients to deliver designs that are practical, buildable and tailored to every brief.

Often a little reserved when you first meet her, Natasha’s passion for great design comes through loud and clear once you start talking houses. She loves the challenge of refining layouts, finding clever space-saving solutions, and making great design accessible – no matter the project size or budget.

Outside of the studio, Natasha’s a busy mum and enjoys soaking up all the outdoors lifestyle Townsville has to offer.

Rod

Design Manager

Rod has always had a passion for building design. From a young age, he was fascinated by how a simple sketch could turn into a home that people live in and love. That early curiosity led him into the world of drawing, digital drafting and eventually formal studies, setting the foundation for his career today.

Rod’s approach is simple — mix creativity with real-world practicality. He works closely with clients and builders to understand what they really need from a space, balancing great design with smart, buildable solutions. Whether it’s a custom home or a pre-designed single or double-storey project, Rod’s goal is always the same: make it look good, live well and be easy to build.

Outside of Arei Designs, you’ll usually find Rod out hiking, taking photos or experimenting with new recipes. He reckons stepping away from the screen and getting outdoors brings fresh ideas back into the studio.

At Arei, Rod’s excited to be part of a team that’s pushing for smarter, faster, better design — helping builders deliver projects that clients love, without the headaches.

Logan

General Manager

Our General Manager, unofficial ‘director of fun’ and IT guru, Logan started his career as a carpenter in Melbourne before moving to tropical north Queensland 12 years ago. Known in his trade for his careful workmanship, though he no longer builds for a living, his eye for detail carries through all he does, and serves him equally well in his work with Arei.

Andrew

Visual Artist

Introducing Andrew our ‘Archviz’ Whiz!!

Andrew’s career started with the completion of dual Diplomas in Multimedia and Screen. His passion for perfection and vast experience in producing animations, 3D fly throughs and still images for a variety of clients has given Andrew the skill to turn your design into a realistic high-quality 3D visual presentation.

As the newest member of the Arei Designs family, Andrew joined the team at a very exciting time, as we expanded our already extensive design, drafting and consulting services portfolio to include Architectural Visualisation (Archviz).

Residing in stunning Western Australia with his beautiful wife and their ‘fur babies’ Scarlet & Topaz, Andrew is studying Japanese, loves to travel, is a history buff and spends his down time reading and watching films.

Casey-Lee

Building & Interion Designer

Bubbly and smiley are the first thing you notice on meeting Casey Lee, but don’t be fooled she is also fastidious, methodical, focussed on detail and brings a great balance to the team.

Casey Lee holds a Double Diploma in Building & interior Design and while her experience since graduating has been mainly in Building Design, she has a genuine love of Interior Design. Developing her passion at a young age, she was always changing her bedroom and moving furniture around the home to create ‘balanced and functional’ spaces.

Weekends for Casey Lee are all about family. Whether its spending time at the local farmers market buying fresh produce for her growing tribe or travelling in their caravan to spend the weekend watching her Dad performing at one of the many Country Music festivals…family is her number 1.

Sarah McKeown

Building Designer

Following her creative dream of being a designer, Sarah studied Building Design in the early 2000’s and has been working in the industry since graduating.

Having worked in both boutique Building Design offices and for volume builders and project developers, she brings more than 15 years’ experience to the Arei designs team, in both commercial and residential design, documentation and 3D renders. She can also proudly boast winning a Master Builders – Display Home Category Award in 2013 for her design.

With a love for residential design, particularly contemporary and industrial styles, in her down time Sarah channels her creativity into designing furniture and educational toys. Weekends for Sarah are spent exploring the beautiful coast and hinterland of the Gold Coast and spending time with her family at kids sports and activities.
